Love at first sight
This watch is honestly almost perfect. Literally like a 9/10. The design is sleek, the watch face is not too big for my tiny wrist, has a vibrant and attractive display, and the watch band is really nice and soft! I had a fit bit charge 4 before this one and it finally quit on me. I wanted a low budget option because I haven’t been consistent and don’t have 300 dollars to waste for it to sit around if I end up not staying consistent. For 50 dollars this beauty fits nearly all my needs. Paired to my samsung phone immediately when I pulled it out of the box. Super easy to set up, and tons of different ways to customize the watch face. Have I mentioned its so pretty?? I don’t typically wear a watch but I wanted the health metrics to track my heart rate and steps. This is one of two mild caveats. It doesn’t actively track your heart rate. Every couple minutes or so it pings your heart rate to get more of a time line than a live feed. No worries, it pings often enough you get a good idea. Only mildly sucks because I use the live feed heart rate monitor to help clue me in to if I might have a panic attack or if I’m overreacting. Another thing. I have been using google health to track my calories and set specific goals for some of my macros I’m trying to hit. Unfortunately, the samsung health app doesn’t get this specific and just gives you the suggested daily intake as a metric rather than letting you set your own. What sucks more is that these two apps don’t sync with each other. So now I have 2 seperate apps to track my health. All in all. Its really a fantastic little gadget. For $50 I would 10000% buy it again if they came out with a newer version. Will update again after I’ve had it a few weeks.

Amazing smartwatch for the price!
Love this! Not too high tech but has everything I need in a smartwatch. Less time looking at my phone for time and date. Can screen my calls, texts, and messages without looking at my phone. Too many times I’ll drop what I’m doing for a spam call. All important communication comes through. Great value for the price, it’s a steal! Has emergency functions that could be life saving to call for help or be found if lost. Great battery life. Unsure of water resistance as I don’t shower with mine. Also helps you find your phone that I’m always losing. Health features, steps, and sleep recorded and synced with Samsung health app. Too many good features, I’m sure I forgot some.

Great fitness watch especially for the price.
I really like this watch so far :). If you’re leery because of the low cost, I don’t think that’s an issue. So far it has performed very well for me. I like the shape of it – it is longer instead of wider so I feel like it fits nicely on my wrist without being too bulky. It has a lot of good features – actually more than I need or will use. I mainly wanted for my step count but it does much more than that. It does show my text messages and when I get a phone call. I can only respond with quick replies but it’s not a problem for me to go get my phone to respond when I need to. I had an Inspire 3 which was notorious for dropping my steps. This is the 3rd one I tried to replace it and I am really liking it. There are many watch faces available. It gives heart rate, weather, activity calories and time and much more. It was very easy to program to my phone and I’ve had no issues there either. The only thing I have noticed is the charge for me only lasts about 7 days – but that isn’t an issue for me to charge it once a week either.

It’s a good value
It seems to track my steps fairly accurately, although I have to take it off if I sit down to crochet, because it counts my hand movements as steps. The sleep tracker is very inaccurate. For example, we spent the night in the hospital with a dying relative. We were awake, sitting in chairs, pacing, walking, talking, all night. The next morning I checked and it congratulated me for getting over 8 hours of sleep. We actually went 39 hours without sleeping at all… So now I don’t even bother to wear it at night. What is the use when I know it is not going to be accurate? The wrist band is comfortable, and pretty. It says there are 100+ watchfaces to choose from, but I can’t find them. I can only find about 5, so I guess I need to do some research. The battery lasts a very long time, and charges very quickly. I’m happy with it. I just don’t try to track my sleep with it.

Great budget smartwatch
After 17 years in the Apple ecosystem, I recently switched from an iPhone to a Samsung S26 Ultra so I needed a watch that worked with my new Android phone to replace my Apple Watch. I wasn’t ready to throw down $300+ on a Galaxy Watch just yet so I looked for cheaper alternatives and that’s when I found the Galaxy FIT 3. It does all of the major functions I need from a smart watch (time/date/temperature, fitness tracking, basic notifications, media playback controls). It comes with 100 different pre-set watch faces to customize your watch but they cannot be individually customized nor can any more be downloaded. The band is soft and comfortable (I’m not sure if there are many replacement bands to customize your FIT like are available for Apple Watches). The watch itself is much narrower vertically and lighter than my Apple Watch. I have to recharge it every 5-7 days (nowhere near the 14 day claimed battery life but much better than when I had to recharge my Apple Watch every day). It takes about 30 seconds per 1 percent to recharge the battery. The biggest downgrades from the Apple Watch or other higher end smartwatches is the smaller size of the display and its reduced scratch resistance (I’ve already gotten several small scratches on the watch face within the first month of use). But for under $50, it’s well worth it, despite any shortcomings.

Nice Entry-Level Smartwatch
My wife is not a complete Luddite, but neither is she a techie. She seemed content with her Seiko quartz watch with an analog dial, but frankly I got tired of having to manually reset the time every time we transitioned between daylight savings and standard time.I decided it was time to bring my wife fully into the 21st Century, so I started looking for a Smartwatch for her. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot, recognizing that she might hate it, so I searched for something with a price below $100. I did not want to waste time with no-name brands and my wife absolutely hates generic anything. Having enjoyed my Galaxy Watch 5 for the past couple years, I decided to see what Samsung offered at the lower end of their range and that led me to the Fit 3. Wow! A no-kidding Samsung watch for less than $50??!!! I read the reviews and the one that really caught my attention called the Fit 3 a “Fitbit Killer.” That’s pretty much all I needed to know. Before my Galaxy Watch 5, I had a Fitbit that died unexpectedly, which I have since learned is not at all uncommon. Between the general reliability of Samsung products, a reasonable array of features and the price, I figured this was a safe choice, so I pulled the trigger on the purchase. So far, so good but there are a few downsides with most Smartwatches. To be blunt, the watchbands generally suck. Some folks like the silicone bands but I hate them and knew my wife would too. So I bought a nice stainless-steel watchband that was compatible with the Fit 3 (you have to be careful about that since it doesn’t use the typical pins to attach it to the watch). The other challenge I anticipated was getting an almost useless charging cable included with the watch. Sure enough, the cable that Samsung includes is only about 1.5ft long, but I had the foresight to buy a charging stand with a 3ft cable for about $14. I was a bit underwhelmed with what’s available on Amazon that’s compatible with the Fit 3, but the stand I bought will suffice and the good news with the Fit 3 is you don’t need to charge it that often. As it turned out, my wife was pretty happy with her new Fit 3 and immediately started showing it off to our kids and other relatives, so I’ll call that a win. I may get called in for tech support from time to time (as I do with her phone) but since I am very familiar with my Galaxy Watch 5, the Wear app and the Samsung Health app, that’s no problem. Best of all, since it syncs with her phone, I’m done having to adjust the time on her watch (with a microscopic dial I can barely read) twice a year or more. Mission accomplished! So, if you are looking for a quality Smartwatch with basic features and not spending a lot, the Fit 3 is definitely worth a look.

Stylish
I do like the Samsung Fit Bit which is what I replaced my Samsung Smart Watch with as I didn’t want to spend that much money on another watch, but I do miss my Smart Watch as I can’t answer the phone on the Fit Bit, although I knew that before I bought it, so you might say I am a bit spoiled from having my Smart Watch. The Fit Bit does notify me of calls and text messages, etc, as that is the main reason I wanted it. The only trouble is that it is a bit smaller than my watch so I have to grab my glasses to read any text messages as I didn’t need my glasses to read my watch as the face was bigger although I do have to say that this Fit Bit is a little more stylish than my watch. All in all, it is pretty good and the watch band is easy to put on and it charges rather quickly. I did buy a mesh band for it with a magnetic clasp so it is easier to get on and off but the band that came with it is also very comfortable.

Better functionality at one-third the price!
This band has more functions than my Fitbit Luxe, which cost 3 times the price. Easy to pair with my phone, even though it is old tech (Google Pixel 3A). The screen is easy to read and the clock face and the functions you want to display can be personalized, although the screen is a bit larger than I expected (1 inch wide by 1.6 inches high). The related app (Samsung Wearables) provides more information that I can wrap my head around (although I am learning). Only complaint I have about the app is that food logging typically only provides serving/grams/calories as portion options, which is harder to use than the many options that Noom has for portions.
