Simple piece to add the best touch
CUTE and SIMPLE yet also elegant! This looks like it should be expensive and a rare piece, however it is not. However it makes an outfit look so nice and simple. I love pearls I wear mine almost everyday so this makes my outfit pop. The chain is quality too, so I am not worried it will break when I wear it.

Great for the price. Does not match real 14k gold.
This necklace design looks to be a faux imitation of handmade pieces made of 14k gold fill and freshwater pearls. Because its based off pre-made styles from real artisans, the design itself is classic and very pretty.***Material***Everything about the materials though—are faux. The little and large pearls are all plastic. What they are calling 14k gold plated are nothing of the sort. The light golden color with a green cast is a tell-tale sign of Zirconium Nitride (ZrN), a ceramic material used in industrial and automotive parts. The hardware here are all made in a vacuum chamber and PVD coated with Zirconium Nitride only, with no real gold used in the process. You can test this with an XRF analyzer—a type of X-ray for precious metals—at a jewelry shop, and the results will be telling. As far as durability goes, this type of golden coating often lasts 2-3 years, is waterproof and does not tarnish. The trade off is that the color does not match any real 14k gold jewelry.***Findings and Hardware***The findings used are actually nicer than expected. The two jump rings that connect the necklace at the end are both thick gauge and closed. This means it’s unlikely to break. It’s not the best jump rings I have ever seen, the best ones are split rings similar to keychain rings or handmade ones closing it with 3 loops, those never break. But the ones here are quite excellent for the price range, I was actually impressed to see those details. The extender chains look to be an afterthought. They are not the same quality as the main chain and for the most part, the only reason they are here is because it’s become an industry standard, so overseas manufacturers just throw whatever flimsy thing they can find on there. If you don’t need the extra length, the necklace looks and feels better without it.***Value***At the time of purchase, it was a set of 2 layered necklaces for $9.99. Even though the material are faux, the pieces itself are well made. For the style and what you get, this is a good value. Its best for a young person just starting out and lack the funds for real gold fill jewelry. The color is most forgivable on a young person as well.***Ethnical Considerations***Calling and labeling this “14k gold plated” is extremely misleading, this is no such thing. Let’s just say if this was a proper, US business subject to FTC regulations and cultural ethics, the only word choice they would be using would be gold-tone or gold-plated.Overall, I recommend this for a young person. The obvious faux gold may look off-putting on an older individual, but passable and fresh on a young teen or 20 something. The style is also cute and on trend.

A cute necklace, fairly thin and dainty
Cute, got it for a friend. I wanted to also get one for myself but it was a little on the tighter side. I think it’s worth what it costs, it’s a good necklace and it has held up well but it’s not the most thick of metal so I could see it breaking easily with heavy activity. It is really pretty and it eventuates a tan.

Doesn’t tarnish at all
AMAZING!!! I’ve had it for about a month and it hasn’t rusted at all!! I’ve worn it in the shower and the pool and it stayed gold and sparkly!! It has an easy clasp and has stated good for about a month, very durable!! Totally would buy again! And its cheap!!!
